Dave Adams, a retired UMass Chemistry professor, brings both academic expertise and personal connection to this topic. He and his wife Lynne, who met at UMass in 1963, co-authored "Massachusetts Memories: UMass Amherst History," giving them unique insight into the university's evolution alongside our local community.

Ken Rath, also a UMass alumnus, offers deep parish knowledge as a longtime St. Brigid's parishioner alongside his wife Rosemary. As Parish Council chair, Ken spearheaded our centennial celebration in 2025 and has compiled a comprehensive history of our parish, making him ideally positioned to illuminate the connections between our church and the university.

Together, they'll explore how these two cornerstone institutions have shaped and influenced each other throughout the decades.
